💧 Product & Wellness

What are Salut Sippers?

Salut Sippers are fruit-based sipping vinegars designed to make vinegar easier and more enjoyable to incorporate into your daily routine.

Made with raw, unfiltered fruit vinegar, botanicals, and pink Himalayan salt, each 50 mL Sipper has 0g sugar and 2.5% acidity.

Unlike a traditional apple cider vinegar shot, Salut is made to be sipped slowly. Enjoy it straight or mixed with still or sparkling water.

What is sipping vinegar?

Sipping vinegar, also called drinking vinegar, is vinegar formulated to be enjoyed as a beverage rather than used only for cooking or dressings.

Salut starts with raw, unfiltered fruit vinegar, which is infused with botanicals and finished with pink Himalayan salt. It's balanced at 2.5% acidity for a smoother, more approachable vinegar taste.

How should I enjoy Salut Sippers?

We recommend enjoying one 50 mL Sipper about 10–15 minutes before a meal as part of your pre-meal ritual.

Sip it slowly on its own, or mix it with 8–12 oz of still or sparkling water for a refreshing spritz.

But don’t stress about perfect timing. You can also enjoy your Sipper with a meal, after a meal, or as part of your morning routine. The best ritual is the one that works for you and that you’ll actually stick with.

⚠️ Avoid mixing with sugary drinks. Added sugar can increase the overall glucose load, which may work against the glucose-supporting benefits as

What can I mix Salut Sippers with?

Make it your own. Salut can be enjoyed straight, over ice, or mixed into your favorite zero-sugar drink.

For a simple Salut Spritz, pour one Sipper over ice and add 8–12 oz of sparkling water. You can also mix it with still water, unsweetened iced tea, flavored sparkling water, or another zero-sugar beverage.

Want to dress it up? Add fresh herbs, citrus, or berries for an easy zero-sugar mocktail.

⚠️ We recommend avoiding sugary mixers. Added sugar increases the overall glucose load, which may work against the reason many people incorporate vinegar into their pre-meal routine.

How many sippers can I take per day?

Most people enjoy 1–2 Salut Sippers per day, depending on their meals and routine.

Each 50 mL Sipper at 2.5% acidity provides approximately the same amount of acetic acid as 25 mL (about 1.7 tablespoons) of standard 5% vinegar.

Research on vinegar has studied daily amounts in this general range for potential effects on post-meal glucose response and satiety, although results vary and Salut Sippers themselves have not been evaluated in clinical trials.

You can enjoy a Sipper before a meal, or dilute it in still or sparkling water and sip it gradually throughout the day.

If you have a medical condition, take medication, or have questions about adding vinegar to your diet, consult your healthcare provider before use.

How is Salut different from apple cider vinegar?

Both Salut Sippers and apple cider vinegar contain acetic acid, the primary acid naturally found in vinegar. The difference starts with the fruit.

Traditional apple cider vinegar is made from apples, while Salut uses fruit-specific vinegars made from raspberry, blueberry, and pineapple depending on the flavor—rather than using apple cider vinegar as the base.

We infuse our fruit vinegars with botanicals, finish them with pink Himalayan salt, and balance them at 2.5% acidity for a smoother, fruit-forward sipping experience.

Apple cider vinegar is commonly around 5% acidity and can have a sharper vinegar bite. Salut is designed to be slowly sipped and enjoyed, rather than taken as a harsh vinegar shot.

Do Salut Sippers contain sugar or honey?

No. Salut Sippers have 0g sugar and no added juice, honey, or artificial sweeteners.

Their fruit-forward flavor comes from the fruit vinegar and botanical infusion—not added sugar.

What flavors are available?

Salut Sippers are currently available in:

  • Raspberry Hibiscus
  • Blueberry Lavender
  • Pineapple Turmeric

All are fruit-forward botanical sipping vinegars with 0g sugar and 2.5% acidity.

Are Salut Sippers vegan and gluten-free?

Yes. Salut Sippers are vegan, plant-based, and gluten-free and made without artificial sweeteners.

Are there any precautions or usage restrictions?

Salut Sippers are intended for adults.

Because they contain raw, unpasteurized vinegar, we do not recommend them for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals or young children.

If you take medication, manage a medical condition, or have concerns about adding vinegar to your diet, consult your healthcare provider before use.

What is “the Mother” in vinegar?

hat cloudy swirl you may see in raw vinegar? That’s the Mother.

The Mother forms naturally during vinegar fermentation and is a mixture that can include acetic acid bacteria, cellulose, yeast, organic acids, and other fermentation compounds. It’s one of the characteristics that distinguishes raw, unfiltered vinegar from highly filtered vinegar.

Salut Sippers are made with raw, unfiltered fruit vinegar with the Mother intact. We don’t filter it out, so you may notice natural cloudiness, sediment, or little strands in your Sipper. That’s completely normal—just give it a gentle shake before enjoying.

Does Salut need to be refrigerated?

No. Salut Sippers are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration, even after opening.

Store them at room temperature away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. Because Salut is made with raw, unfiltered fruit vinegar with the Mother, natural settling or cloudiness may occur over time. Give your Sipper a gentle shake before enjoying.

Refrigeration isn’t required, but we love Salut chilled—it can make the vinegar taste even smoother and more refreshing on the palate.

As with any food or beverage, use common sense after opening and do not consume if you notice an unusual change in smell, appearance, or quality.

How long do Salut Sippers last?

Unopened Salut Sippers have a shelf life of up to 2 years. Always check the best-by date printed on the packaging.

Can I travel with Salut Sippers?

Yes. Each Salut Sipper is 50 mL (1.7 fl oz), making individual bottles TSA-friendly for carry-on travel.

They’re sealed and shelf-stable, making them easy to pack for flights, road trips, work, or travel.

Can sipping vinegar help with cravings?

Yes! The acetic acid in vinegar naturally slows how your body turns carbs into sugar. That means fewer spikes, fewer crashes,

and fewer “I-need-cookies-NOW” moments. Salut Sippers make it tasty, convenient, and actually enjoyable.

Can I eat all the cake I want if I’m sipping Salut Sippers?

Salut Sippers are formulated to support balanced glucose and cravings, but they’re not a magic pass to eat unlimited treats. Think of them as a ritual to indulge smarter — not a license to go wild on cake. Pair them with protein, fiber, and balanced meals for best results.

I already had a sugary snack — is it too late to take a Salut Sipper?

Nope, not too late! While sipping about 30 minutes before eating gives the best glucose support, taking a Salut Sipper after carbs or sweets can still help your body process sugar more smoothly. Think of it as a smart backup for when cravings (or cake) win.

Do Salut Sippers have the same benefits as apple cider vinegar (ACV)

Salut Sippers are made with raw fruit vinegars (including apple) and contain the same key active compound — acetic acid — linked to blood sugar and appetite support. But unlike harsh ACV shots, Salut Sippers are formulated with botanicals, live cultures, and pink salt, making them smoother, tastier, and more functional.

Are Salut Sippers safe for kids or pregnant/breastfeeding people?

Salut Sippers are formulated with natural ingredients and made with raw (unpasteurized) vinegar, with no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Because they contain raw vinegar, they are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding people or young children. Always consult a healthcare provider before use.

Are Salut Sippers safe if I have diabetes or prediabetes?

Salut Sippers are not a treatment for diabetes or prediabetes, but vinegar has been studied for its potential to support healthier blood sugar responses after meals. Each bottle contains diluted raw vinegar with botanicals — no sugar, no artificial sweeteners.

Because every body is different, especially if you’re managing blood sugar with medications like insulin or metformin, we recommend talking with your healthcare provider before adding Salut Sippers to your routine.

Can I mix Salut Sippers with coffee, smoothies, or alcohol?

For the most glucose-supporting benefits, enjoy your sipper straight or with water/sparkling water. You can mix with unsweetened tea or a low‑sugar smoothie if you prefer.

  • Avoid sugary mixers (sodas, juice, syrups) — added sugar can blunt vinegar’s benefits.
  • Alcohol: fine if you want the flavor; for benefits, sip your Salut before drinking or make a no/low‑sugar mocktail. Sugary cocktails can cancel out the effect.
  • Live cultures (“the Mother”): heat and high‑proof alcohol can reduce live‑culture activity. If Mother flecks bother you, just shake and strain — cloudiness is normal.

When will I feel results?

Many people notice fewer cravings and steadier energy within the first few uses (especially when sipping before carb‑heavy meals). Blood‑sugar support is typically acute — it helps most when you take it before eating. Longer‑term goals (like weight support) require consistent daily use plus balanced meals. Results vary and this isn’t a medication.

What’s the shelf life?

Unopened bottles last 2 years (see packaging for best‑by date). Once opened, they’re still good — just shake well before sipping. Because we use raw vinegar, the natural “mother” can settle and make the liquid look a bit cloudy — that’s normal. Refrigerate after opening and finish within 24 hours for best taste and quality. Consume before the best‑by date.

Can I travel with Salut Sippers?

Yes! Each is 50 ml (TSA-friendly), sealed, and shelf-stable. Perfect for flights, road trips, or tossing in your bag. Just avoid extreme heat, and shake well before sipping.

🧬 Product Claims & Research

Why do people drink vinegar before meals?

Vinegar contains acetic acid, its primary active compound. Acetic acid has been studied for its potential effects on post-meal glucose and insulin response, which is one reason vinegar is often incorporated into a pre-meal routine.

Salut makes that ritual easier to enjoy with 2.5% acidity, fruit-based vinegar, botanicals, and 0g sugar.

Salut Sippers themselves have not been evaluated in clinical trials, and individual responses vary. Explore the science behind Salut Sippers to learn more about the research.

Has vinegar traditionally been used for wellness?

Yes. Vinegar has been used for thousands of years across cultures as a food, preservative, fermented drink, and traditional wellness ingredient.

Its history stretches back to ancient civilizations, long before modern research began studying acetic acid, the primary acid in vinegar.

Today, researchers continue to study vinegar and acetic acid for their potential effects on areas such as post-meal glucose response and satiety.

Salut takes inspiration from this centuries-old vinegar tradition and gives it a modern twist with raw, unfiltered fruit vinegar, botanical infusions, 0g sugar, and a smoother 2.5% acidity.

Is there research on vinegar and acetic acid?

Yes. Vinegar and acetic acid have been studied for their potential effects on post-meal glucose response and satiety.

Salut Sippers themselves have not been evaluated in clinical trials. Explore the science behind vinegar and acetic acid to learn more about the research behind our pre-meal ritual.

Do Salut Sippers support GLP-1 naturally?

Acetic acid — the active compound in our sipping vinegar — may help in three ways:

  1. GLP-1 signaling: small human studies report increases in GLP-1 after vinegar with meals.
  2. Slower carb-to-sugar conversion / gastric emptying: which can blunt post-meal glucose spikes.
  3. Fullness cues: many people report feeling more satisfied when pairing vinegar with meals.
  4. By sipping before meals, you’re giving your body a natural nudge that may help with glucose and cravings. Results vary and this isn’t a medication.

How does acetic acid in Salut Sippers support blood sugar balance?

Acetic acid—the key compound in vinegar—can slow how quickly carbs turn into sugar and delay gastric emptying. For many people, this helps blunt post-meal glucose spikes and reduces the crashy cravings that follow. That’s why we suggest sipping before meals. Results vary and this isn’t a medication.

Does Salut Sippers work like Ozempic®?

Not exactly. Ozempic® is a prescription medicine that mimics the GLP-1 hormone to help regulate blood sugar and appetite. Salut Sippers don’t replace medication; they’re formulated to support your body’s natural GLP-1 response with acetic acid and botanicals. Think of them as a crave-crushing, appetite-balancing ritual you can enjoy daily — no prescription needed.

What is “the Mother” in vinegar, and why does it matter for gut health?

“The Mother” is the natural mix of proteins, enzymes, and live cultures that forms during raw vinegar fermentation. It’s what makes raw vinegar cloudy — and it’s a good thing! Salut Sippers are made with raw vinegar, so every sip includes this living source of beneficial compounds that may support gut health, digestion, and overall microbiome balance.

Unlike filtered vinegars, our raw sipping vinegars keep the Mother intact — so don’t worry if you see a little cloudiness or settling, that’s where the good stuff lives.
